BenQ SW271C
3840 x 2160 Pixels, 27"Product details
The BenQ SW271C is an excellent choice for graphics and creative professionals. It works with native 4K/UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and delivers maximum colour fidelity thanks to the possibility of precise hardware calibration, 16-bit 3D look-up table and a Δ-E value of less than 2. These strengths are complemented by very flexible ergonomics and a wide range of interfaces.
Its advanced IPS panel delivers 100% sRGB, 99% AdobeRGB and 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage. Likewise, the monitor supports the HDR10 standard. The monitor is highly accurate pre-calibrated at the factory to ΔE<2. Uniformity technology adjusts color and brightness across hundreds of subsections for maximum consistency across the entire image area. The monitor can be calibrated with external colorimeters from the X-Rite i1 and Datacolor Spyder series.

In the test, the BenQ SW271C proved to be an interesting graphics monitor that comes with an anti-glare bonnet from the factory. At a price level of around 1500 euros, however, it has to fend off strong competition in this sector.

The PhotoVue SW271C is a reliable image processing monitor that is also easy to use - but it also has its price.
The Benq monitor comes up trumps with a 16-bit LUT and is comfortable to operate.

The monitor from Benq scores with a 16-bit LUT and can be operated very comfortably by its hotkey puck.

- The display, optimised thanks to the large colour space, 10-bit display and hardware calibration, is excellent. The equipment is very good.
- The maximum brightness of 300 cd/m is a little too low for the true HDR display that the BenQ SW271Ctheoretically enables.
BenQ is expanding its product range with the SW271C, a comprehensively equipped 27-inch monitor with first-class image display. The addition of USB-C functionality to the system simplifies connection to modern laptops.
