Die Fritz Box 7590 ist der derzeit beste DSL-Router. Er kann auch ohne den neuen Standard Wi-Fi 6 schnelles WLAN, zumal clevere Mesh-Funktionen die Datenübertragungen im WLAN optimieren. Zudem bietet er viele Funktionen und Anschlüsse, etwa für Telefone und Drucker.
Bei Sicherheits-Ausstattung und Bedienung liegt die Fritzbox klar vorn. Auch der Kinderschutz ist gut gelungen. Eine cloudbasierte Malware-Erkennung fehlt ihr allerdings.

AVMs aktuelles Topmodell ist zwar das teuerste Gerät im Test, sein Geld aber wert: Nach der vom Browser-Assistenten geführten Einrichtung und einem Neustart funktionierten alle Dienste. An einem bereits auf BNG umgestellten Telekom-Anschluss könnte das Setup noch einen Tick einfacher sein, indem die Fritzbox die dort gebotene Easy-Support-Konfiguration von selbst nutzt...
