- Mesh functions
- Operation simple
- draws little current
- Mediocre WLAN speed
- few connections
Like its big brother 7590, the Fritz Box 7530 has a modem for fast supervectoring connections, but the WLAN performance is significantly lower. Because it also has fewer connections, the Fritz Box 7530 is more suitable for smaller households with few users and devices.
The Wi-Fi 6 can only partially fulfil the high expectations. The Fritz Box 7530 AX only outperforms its predecessor in a few points. The WLAN range and the USB speed are even lower. So it is more worthwhile for small flats. If you already own the Fritz Box 7530, you don't need to upgrade to the new Wi-Fi-6 model. And for top speed, it still has to be the 7590.

DSL customers who can do without a few connections and maximum WLAN performance can save 100 euros with this smaller Fritzbox. It is pleasing to note that there are no cutbacks in the software functions.
- Numerous home network, telephony and smart home functions
- Sufficient ports and USB 3.0 despite middle class
- clever mesh functionality together with repeaters
- Many setting options and understandable user interface
- reliable firmware maintenance
The Fritzbox 7630 is AVM's mid-range router, but still offers good features: you can connect up to six DECT telephones and use an integrated answering machine. Four LAN ports, a DSL socket and a USB 3.0 port adorn the back.
The Fritzbox 7530, which is also literally small, is a good choice for DSL customers with a limited budget. This is because it offers almost all the functions that are also available with the larger and more expensive Fritzboxes.
