The FRITZ!Box 3390 can be used with any DSL or VDSL connection, allowing you to benefit from speeds of up to 100 MBit/s. The new dual-band WLAN N, which is capable of speeds up to 450 MBit/s, enables wireless connections with high data rates over greater distances in both frequency bands simultaneously.
It also features VPN (Ipsec), NAS functionality (FTP, SMB, UPnP AV), and a media server for music, images, and movies within the home network.

Dass man auch mit dem älteren WLAN Standard eine schnelle Verbindung herstellen kann zeigt AVM und auch die zahlreichen Anschlüsse sowie die Nutzung als Medienserver ist mit dem Router möglich. Allerdings fehlen hier die Telefonanschlüsse.

Die neue Box von AVM baut auf Bewährtes auf und ist gut ausgestattet. So kann der Router auch als Speicher dienen und neben der sehr einfache Konfiguration ist das Gerät selbst auch sehr leicht zu bedienen, wobei die WLAN Leistung ausreicht um mehrere Verbindungen gleichzeitig aufbauen zu können.
