Dieser Kopfhörer der Traditionsmarke ist im Prinzip eine Erweiterung des bestehenden MSR7 um die aktive Noise-Cancelling-Funktion (ANC). Letztere wird immer öfter wichtig, um Umgebungsgeräusche zu minimieren, etwa auf Reisen, oder auch zu Hause. Das ANC funktioniert beim MSR7NC ansprechend, wenn auch nicht ganz so undurchlässig wie etwa bei Sonys MDR 100X und Boses QC35...
