Product details
The GeForce RTX family of super models offers more video memory and an increased number of shader cores than its standard RTX predecessors. With the product refresh nVidia meets the needs of demanding
games with raytracing effects. nVidia positions the Geforce RTX 2060 Super a little below a regular Geforce RTX 2070. It uses the TU106 chip known from the RTX 2070, with 2176 activated shader processors and 14-Gbps-GDDR6 memory. A Geforce RTX 2060 Super is fast enough for raytracing in 1080p or 1440p.
The new Turing RTX series graphics chips contain special arithmetic units that accelerate raytracing rendering. The interaction of these raytracing cores with the GPU enables real-time raytracing in games for the first time. This enables better shadows and above all much more realistic reflections.
The Asus GPU Tweak II utility allows you to take graphics card tuning to a new level. The software offers you the possibility to optimize important parameters such as GPU core clock, memory frequency, voltage settings and more. You can monitor everything in real time via a customizable interface. The advanced fan controller is integrated as well as many other features to help you get the most out of your graphics card.
This graphics card has a USB-C interface which is intended for compatible VirtualLink VR headsets. VirtualLink offers you 32.4 Gbps - enough for a 4K panel at 120 Hz (uncompressed 2160 x 1920 pixels per eye). In addition, the standard bundles data and power into a single cable. A connected VR headset can theoretically be supplied with up to 27 watts, which enables more chips and sensors in the device. The consortium behind it consists of AMD, Microsoft, nVidia, Oculus and Valve, who have joined forces to develop the interface.
