The drive supports the latest Blu-ray 3D technology for extremely lifelike movie experiences with Cyberlink PowerDVD 10. Additionally, it features technology that converts 2D videos into 3D content in real-time and with just one click, adding more depth to the visuals. The sound quality is exceptionally high, thanks to the lossless signal quality of Dolby Digital EX and DTS-HD (5.1 channels). The design of the BW-12D1S-U drive is inspired by the appearance of a diamond with faceted edges. Its unique design is also particularly space-saving, as the drive can be placed flat on the desk or set up vertically using a detachable stand. Asus provides users with a range of advanced image optimization technologies that enable DVD movies to be viewed in stunning HD quality.
