The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with its AM4 socket actually belongs on mainstream platforms, but it performs so well in the test and is so expensive that we had to push it into the enthusiast class by necessity. And although it now competes with heavyweights, it still performs excellently: with its 16 physical cores, 32 threads and up to 4.9 GHz clock speed, it takes a top position and even outperforms some...
The new Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 5 5600X CPUs work faster and more economically than their predecessors. However, the advantages are not so huge that they retire the old CPUs. Those who have a Ryzen 3000 CPU can keep it. For upgrading older computers, however, a 5000 model makes sense.
