Alphacool has already developed and patented a new injection technique with the first Eisblock XPX. The so-called ramp system ensures a uniform water flow within the cooler and is located in front of the nozzle plate. This allows the water to be evenly pressed through the nozzle plate and distributed evenly across the cooler base. The cooling channels on the CPU cooler base have also been enlarged to an impressive 34 x 32 mm to accommodate the ever-growing CPU dies. This is especially relevant for multi-core processors with 4, 6, 8, or even 12 or more CPU cores.
