The most common HardTubes are clear and transparent. HardTubes made of brass and carbon have also established themselves. Now Alphacool offers the ice pipe as part of its ice products.
The surface looks and feels like ice. Slightly rough but still smooth.
The ice pipe permanently changes the appearance of the system. Especially after filling the system you can see the actual effect best. The water has the appearance of frozen water ice. If the circuit is illuminated with LEDs, the reflection of the individual LEDs can be seen very well on clear HardTubes, not so with the ice tubes. Here the light is diffused and you get a much smoother and better illumination.
Note:
Like all Acrylic HardTubes, the ice pipe can be bent with the appropriate bending tool. However, the appearance of the ice pipes at the bends changes noticeably and no longer corresponds to the original appearance. This way you can create another effect, but if you want to keep the ice pipe optics, you should use appropriate connections for bends.
