Product details
The Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU water coolers offer maximum performance thanks to the patented ramp system, combined with excellent quality. The Aurora design, along with the addressable digital RGB lighting, provides numerous options for outstanding illumination of the CPU water cooler. Alphacool has developed and patented a special injection technique with the first Eisblock XPX. The so-called ramp system ensures a uniform water flow within the cooler and is positioned in front of the nozzle plate. This allows the water to be evenly pressed through the nozzle plate and distributed uniformly across the cooler base. The cooling channels on the CPU cooler base have been enlarged to an impressive 34 x 32 mm to accommodate the increasingly larger CPU dies. This is particularly relevant for multi-core processors with 4, 6, 8, or even 12 or more CPU cores. To ensure that heat is transferred from the CPU to the water as quickly as possible, there are 81 cooling fins on the cooler base. The fin structure has been reduced to just 0.2 mm to create the largest possible surface area in a compact space. The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acrylic differs only slightly in design from its predecessor, the Eisblock XPX. In the Eisblock Aurora Acrylic, the lower part of the cooler is not made of acrylic but of transparent nylon. This makes it nearly impossible for the mounting or the high temperature fluctuations during operation to cause the acrylic to crack. The upper part of the cooler contains the integrated addressable digital RGB LEDs. A separate RGB frame, as seen in the predecessor Eisblock XPX, is therefore no longer necessary. Like all Aurora products, the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acrylic features a black frame, embedded with the Alphacool logo on the top. The Alphacool logo remains very subtle and unobtrusive.
