Our story begins in a region of Allraan, a collection of diverse nations with different cultures and values.

The history of the land has been shaped by the sword and magical objects known as "Rune Lenses" – a tale of alliances and wars among humans, beasts, elves, and desert dwellers.

The Galdean Empire has displaced other nations and developed a technology that enhances the magic of the Rune Lenses.

Today, the Empire seeks an artifact across the continent to further expand its power. During one of these expeditions, Seign Kesling, a young talented imperial officer, meets Nowa, a boy from a remote village, and they become friends.

However, through a twist of fate, the two are soon drawn into a war that forces them to rethink everything they have believed to be right and wrong.
