For use in e-sports, the M9 is not uncompromising enough and offers more extras than necessary.

If you are looking for a 27-inch gaming monitor with 4K resolution and HDR600 certification and want to stay true to the PS5 design, the Inzone M9 monitor from Sony is the perfect gaming partner. The great design and good handling are offset by the not always high-quality plastic look and deficits in local dimming control and image illumination...
Sony makes a successful comeback after 15 years of monitor abstinence. The chic and well-made Inzone M9 displays content with almost true-to-life colours and, if necessary, nice and bright. The equipment with many connections including a USB hub is impressive. However, the M9 consumes a lot of power when switched off and its price of 1099 euros is hefty.
The chic design of the Inzone M9, the nimble display and the connectivity including KVM make the M9 a great gaming companion. The FALD backlight is both a blessing and a curse: the dimmable image segments and the high peak luminance along with the good colours make HDR reproduction on the M9 a lot of fun...
