The new fascia roll by BLACKROLL: Twin

We’ve recently added the twin among the foam rollers to our range. It’s a combination of the most popular BLACKROLL products: the Standard foam roller and the Duoball.

How to make a good product better? Take the best aspects of both and make them into a new product. From the Standard foam roller and the Duoball, BLACKROLL has produced the Twin foam roller, which is said to be ideal for the treatment of the spine. At the beginning of the year, I came across the twin fascia roll at the world's largest sports fair in Munich and wrote about it (article available in German only). Now it’s available in our range.

BLACKROLL Twin: the main role for your fasciae

The twist in its centre makes the new Twin roller ideal the back, as it doesn't put pressure on the spine. Compared to the Duoball, however, the surface on the left and right from the centre are wider. This makes the massage effect along the spine more even and less intense. In addition, the twisted structure in the centre stimulates the skin and tissue when used on legs and arms.

As all fascia rolls by BLACKROLL that are 30 centimetres long, the Twin can be combined with the vibrating core booster. My fellow editor Michael has tested it. Here's his verdict:

My first impression of the BLACKROLL Twin

The Twin foam roller is a great invention by BLACKROLL. It's no surprise that it received a Gold Award at the sports fair ISPO at the beginning of the year. The combination of the Standard foam roller and the Duoball is a great success – at least for my back. Fascia training is and will probably always be painful. But this product will definitely reduce the pain along your spine.
