Easter decorations that are still good after Easter

Find out here how to give baskets and co. a second life after the holidays. True to the motto: After the bunny festival is before the bunny festival.

The idea for this story came to me while I was grocery shopping. I was in my favourite discount store and spotted this: dominoes for Easter. At first I thought Father Christmas had got the season wrong. But then it dawned on me: perhaps Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny have formed an alliance - in the interests of sustainability. Domino recycling, so to speak.

Inspired by this, I searched Galaxus for Easter products that you can simply continue to use after the bunny festival and thus also do something good for the environment.

Easter baskets

Once all the chocolate eggs have been found and eaten, the baskets either disappear into the cupboard or end up in the bin. You can recycle them and turn them into storage boxes for keys, make-up or loose change. You can either use the baskets as they are or spray paint them. These are available in many colours and also make the baskets more robust. I often use the acrylic spray from Edding myself for upcycling. It lasts really well, dries quickly and is waterproof.

Gift bags

Biscuit cutter

This tip comes from my cousin, whose new partner has brought two schoolchildren into the relationship. She uses Easter biscuit cutters regardless of the time of year to brighten up the kids' snacks. She uses the moulds to cut out fruit or toast and then packs Hasi & Co. in a lunchbox. According to her, the children are king and queen in the school playground.

Do you have any more ideas on what to do with Easter decorations after the holidays? Write it in the comments!
