Dyson hair care: the collected reviews
The price of Dyson’s hair styling tools are unlikely to tempt you into a purchase. Quite the opposite in fact. Want to avoid a lousy buy? Here you’ll find a collection of my reviews of the Dyson Supersonic, Airwrap and Corrale.
When someone I know is considering spending money on a Dyson hair product, I hear the same comment time and time again: «I’m really not sure.» Most people are undecided, and rightly so. With the price of the devices hovering at around 400 francs, a purchase calls for careful consideration. I myself am a devout fan of Dyson's hair styling appliances. That said, they’re not suitable for everyone. With this in mind, here’s a collection of all of my reviews explaining which devices are worth buying, and for whom.
Dyson Airwrap
My first attempts at using the multi styler were clumsy. At that point, there were two set variations which are no longer available today.
They’ve been ditched in favour of the Airwrap Complete Set and the Airwrap Complete Long Set. The latter includes the long curl attachments, which were launched later.
After a year of testing, my unabridged update was published.
I also tested a new attachment – the narrow Smoothing Brush:
Dyson Supersonic
Is it worth buying the Supersonic hairdryer if you already have the Airwrap and hairdryer attachment?
Dyson keeps launching new attachments for the Supersonic, too. Latest addition: a hook for taming flyaways at the hairline.
Dyson Corrale
The cordless straightener smoothens the hair with long-lasting results. However, it’s only worthwhile for a small target group.
As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
