"Dura": The first bike computer from Coros

The new "Dura" bike computer is announced with an impressive battery life of 120 hours in GPS mode. Enough energy for very long journeys. Thanks to the so-called four-panel solar configuration, the "Dura" should allow up to three hours of additional riding time in direct sunlight, according to Coros.

Touch control and seamless route updates

A high-resolution colour touchscreen is designed to be responsive and intuitive to use. Drivers can operate the device by swiping and touching without taking their eyes off the road. According to the manufacturer, the digital dial and a button make it easy to operate, even when wearing gloves.

According to Coros, new routes can be created in the Coros app or downloaded from platforms such as Strava, RideWithGPS and Komoot. Changing the route on the go is also no problem: the rider searches for new destinations or records a new route on the mobile and the "Dura" synchronises the updated route in seconds, according to the manufacturer.

Intelligent rerouting and fast synchronisation

Coros also writes in the press release: "If a wrong turn is taken, "Dura" immediately puts the driver back on the right track. Roadworks are avoided with real-time road condition data from Google Maps. The device's advanced Bluetooth synchronisation enables the transfer of driving data in seconds, regardless of the duration of the activity."

According to the manufacturer, the "Dura" can be connected via Bluethooth or ANT+ to accessories such as power meters, radar devices, speed/cadence sensors, heart rate monitors and electric gear levers. This allows you to obtain important measured values and functions directly from the handlebars.
