SPECIALIZED. Founded in California in 1974, our DNA is programmed for speed and performance. The world's best teams and riders rely on SPECIALIZED products. Because we are riders - this fact has shaped every decision we have made since 1974. Because there were no high quality tires back then, we made it our goal to develop the best tires. When people started to ride more and more off-road trails, we started producing our first mountain bikes. Because roadies have always wanted to go faster and faster, we invested in carbon development and built in our own wind tunnel. The rider and innovation, which is at the heart of every decision, drives us - we are SPECIALIZED.

Since the branch in Cham (CH) opened in February 2009, SPECIALIZED has also developed more and more into a brand with a Swiss character - for example, it was the Swiss development team that launched the first e-bike in the history of SPECIALIZED in 2012. Today, the e-bike is one of the most important categories for us and the global e-bike headquarters is located in Cham.
